Bachelors Degre in History

Interest in the Bachelor of History Study Program continues to increase. In addition to low tuition fees, accreditation of study programs, adequate facilities and infrastructure are a strong attraction for History Program. The high number of enthusiasts can be seen from the increase in the number of History Program registrants in SPMB which continues to increase every year.

International Courses

History students not only study the history and culture of Indonesia but also the history and culture of other nations in the world. This is found in the courses of Asian History, European History, and United States History. All with the aim of broadening the horizons of History students in the field of history as well as the culture of people in the world. History students are also equipped with foreign languages through English courses since semester 1 and Dutch courses in semesters 3, 4 and 5 to support their ability to read archives which are often written in English or Dutch. English and Dutch can also be used as a means of communication when PS3 students interact with the international community in the future.

  • This course discusses the history of Southeast Asian civilizations, social development, political economy and culture in the Southeast Asian region.

This course studies the development of the History of European Civilization along with its influence on various accompanying fields, both social, cultural, economic, political, etc. and its relevance for Indonesia. The discussion starts from Classical European civilization, Medieval Europe and Modern Europe. Studying the development of the History of European Civilization, students are expected to be able to understand and analyze its relevance to the development of civilization that occurred in Indonesia.

This course discusses the political policies taken by the United States government, since the reign of Presidents Roosevelt, Truman, Eisenhower to Kennedy towards the political situation that occurred in Indonesia.

Mandatory courses are English I and English II. Students when going to carry out the thesis examination must also show a certificate of passing English, namely EAP (English Academic Purpose) issued by P2B UNS.

Bachelor Degree in History also equips students with the provision of Dutch language courses for 3 semesters, namely Dutch Source 1 in semester 3, Dutch Source 2 in semester 4, and Dutch Source 3 in semester 5. This course aims to train students to be able to understand and read basic Dutch source texts correctly. The material provided comes from a textbook practicing Dutch for historical sciences.
